Jennifer Vanasco

Jennifer Vanasco is editor-in-chief of 365Gay.com. She writes an award-winning weekly column for the Chicago Free Press, as well as book and theater reviews. Her columns are also published in the Philadelphia Gay News, Atlanta's Southern Voice, Houston Voice, the Washington Blade and other papers. She blogs daily on the gay political website VisibleVote08.com.

Her work has also been published in the anthologies "I Do, I Don't: Queers On Marriage" and "Reading the 'L Word." She has written for the Chicago Tribune, Newsday and other publications. She is a former Deputy Director of Mayor Bloomberg's Office of Correspondence.

Vanasco graduated from Wellesley in 1994, where she majored in philosophy and was editor in chief of the Wellesley News and chief justice of College Government. She taught freelance journalism at the University of Chicago's extension school for 10 years, runs writing workshops, and coaches new writers. She lives in Manhattan with her dog Max.
